Saloni Patel

My name is Saloni Patel, and I’m from the Chicago suburbs! I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Supply Chain Management and Marketing, along with a Minor in Informatics. During undergrad, I gained hands-on experience at Caterpillar and Ingredion, focusing on logistics, data analysis, and process optimization. I also worked at Maya Cosmetics, where I enhanced operations and managed e-commerce.

After graduation, I joined General Motors’ GPSC TRACK rotational program, where I developed experience in logistics, supply chain, and purchasing. I then became an Engineering Change Breakpoint Coordinator, supporting four EV program launches and managing complex supply chains.

Outside of work, I love getting creative in the kitchen with vegetarian recipes, diving into a good thriller, and exploring new places and cultures. I’m passionate about finding innovative and sustainable solutions in supply chains, and I get excited about any opportunity to make a meaningful impact while learning something new along the way!
