Alexander John

Candidate, Class of 2027

Alexander John graduated from University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and data science. He began his professional career with Andersen Corporation through the company’s Logistics Development Program (LDP), where he held multiple roles, including Inventory Specialist, Transportation Analyst and Operations Supervisor across facilities in Minnesota and Texas. After completing the LDP, Alexander moved to Pennsylvania to support the launch of a new distribution facility. As an Operations Supervisor, he oversaw the transition of inventory into the newly established warehouse. Leading a team of Inventory Specialists and Process Coordinators, he drove cross-functional initiatives to optimize the storage and handling of finished goods and expand service capabilities for customers across the Northeast. At MIT, Alexander is eager to deepen his understanding of the factors that shape supply chain performance to help develop strategies that build more resilient global operations in an increasingly complex world.
