    Madeleine Lagarde Hrycyna has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University. She started her career with GE in their Gas Power Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) in 2021 where she held multiple roles across global supply chain as a quality engineer, fulfillment leader, operations supervisor, and procurement specialist. After finishing the program she worked as a process industrialization quality engineer in Greenville, SC while completing her micro-master’s in supply chain management. Her latest role was with GE Vernova’s nuclear energy business in Wilmington, NC where she was the supply chain strategy projects leader for Small Modular Reactors. She has always enjoyed her roles in supply chain and is excited to continue learning and furthering her connections and knowledge in the field.

    I am a Massachusetts native and received my BA in Law from Suffolk University. I have four years of experience in supply chain specializing in supply planning, most recently as a Supply Planner for Puma. I’m excited to continue my career in supply chain at MIT as well as my studies in French and playing soccer in my free time.

    Na Rae Jang is an MIT MASc in Supply Chain Management candidate with nine years of professional experience at A.P. Moller–Maersk. Her work focuses on designing sustainable supply chains that reduce the carbon footprint of complex global networks and advancing humanitarian logistics. She collaborates with NGOs, public agencies, and industry partners to address sustainability challenges while carefully balancing operational trade-offs

  • Insu Kang

    Insu Kang is a supply chain professional with experience in both operations and planning, applied across warehousing and production in the biopharmaceutical industry. Before joining the MIT Supply Chain Management program, his background spanned warehouse operations, production and outsourcing planning, and data-driven optimization, enabling structured and impact-oriented decision-making.

    He holds academic backgrounds in public health and industrial engineering, which shape his interest in applying analytical and systems-based thinking to complex supply chain challenges. At MIT, he is interested in network design, operations strategy, and supply chain risk.

    Pooja Kashyap is an accomplished global sourcing and commodities leader with 15+ years of international experience across the UAE, USA, UK, and India. She is currently pursuing a Master of Applied Science in Supply Chain Management at MIT, building on her MBA from the University of Bath and her engineering degree from MNNIT Allahabad. Known for her strengths in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier performance, Pooja has delivered multimillion‑dollar value in her roles at Schlumberger (SLB). Outside of work, she is passionate about classical Indian music, enjoys exploring new vocal styles, and actively volunteers with nonprofit initiatives.

  • Won Suh Kim

    Won Suh Kim leads end-to-end planning for DNA sequencers at Element Biosciences, managing the transition from R&D to commercial scale-up. His background includes reagent consumables planning at Becton Dickinson (BD) and navigating the “vein-to-vein” complexities of cell therapy at Kite Pharma (Gilead Sciences). Won Suh focuses on bridging the gap between volatile supply chains and patient-critical demand. He holds a degree in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego, with a focus on human-computer interaction. Outside of work, he is an avid rock climber.

Josh has experience across priority functions (Sourcing & Procurement, Logistics, Planning) and industries, with a focus on High Tech. Drawing from his experiences leading projects, Josh brings a blend of strategic thinking, domain expertise, and industry insights to create an effective team dynamic.

    Hello from Hong Kong! I am an enthusiastic aviation professional, currently as the quality assurance manager at Cathay Pacific Airways focusing on airport and air cargo operations. Before that I was working at the Airport Authority Hong Kong for 7 years with experience in various roles across multiple international and domestic airports. I majored in Economics and Finance for my Bachelor’s Degree at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

    Coming from the world’s busiest air cargo hub, I truly admire the sophistication and restlessness of transportation in supporting all supply chains and keeping the world moving. Looking forward to all amazing work to be accomplished with the talented minds shaping supply chain innovation here at MIT!

    Hello MIT! I’m Jing from Netherlands, and I’m thrilled to join the SCM cohort. I started my career with a strong foundation in finance, completing both my bachelor’s and master’s studies in finance and investments, before moving into operational excellence and supply chain transformation roles in a global agribusiness. Over the past nine years, I’ve led cross-functional muti-country initiatives and programs across manufacturing, supply chain, and cost productivity throughout the EMEA region.

    Growing up in Asia and building my life and career in Europe has shaped my global perspective and how I tackle complex supply chain problems.

    Outside of work, I’m energized by learning, thoughtful conversations, and connecting ideas across disciplines. I’m looking forward to growing, contributing, and building meaningful relationships within the MIT community.

    I come from a mechanical engineering background and have over 14 years of experience in global supply chain and procurement roles, primarily within the energy and industrial sectors. My experience spans contract management, strategic sourcing, and procurement across both operational and capital project environments. I have managed end-to-end contract lifecycles, worked closely with domestic and international suppliers, and supported complex projects across multiple regions. I am particularly interested in building smarter, more resilient supply chains and look forward to learning from and contributing to the SCM and MIT community.
