Hi, I’m Christina Cafaro, a Penn State grad who worked as a consultant for KPMG in Chicago before joining MIT. Over the last three years, I focused on procurement and outsourcing consulting, tackling a variety of challenges across commercial and government projects. In my free time, I enjoy skiing, golfing, and hiking. I’m dedicated to volunteering with the unhoused community, meeting friends for coffee, and reading The Atlantic and National Geographic.
I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and graduated with an SCM bachelor’s degree in 2020 from Texas A&M. I started my career in SCM because I learned that supply chain professionals constantly integrate analytical work with soft skills and creative thinking. I believe I’m at my best when I get to blend the two together, and the wins I’ve had in my career (ranging from the manufacturing floor to consulting design workshops) are because of learning how to achieve that balance. In my free time I enjoy playing bass guitar, sports with friends, cooking, and reading.

Hello everyone! I am originally from Mason, Michigan but upon graduating from Michigan State University and starting my supply chain career, I moved to San Francisco, California. In the grand hills of San Fran, I worked for Cisco Systems in the Partner Management and then the SC Network Design team where I continued to hone my skills and passion for connecting people and data. Outside of work I have a lot of hobbies! I bake addictive cookies, read as many books as I can, take any chance to watch a sunrise/sunset, and love saving friends’ houseplants.
