Alex Varnhagen

I am from Westchester County, New York and attended Vanderbilt University as an undergraduate. Since graduating, I have worked in an operational capacity across the end-to-end supply chain with several consumer products companies, with an emphasis on distribution and warehousing operations. I’ve also volunteered on and off with ALAN (the American Logistics Aid Network) for several years, providing logistics coordination for carriers and charities donating supplies, capacity, and/or equipment as part of their COVID-19 and disaster response efforts. I am a vegan, and in addition to exploring the vegan food options in the area, I look forward to hiking and running in the nature preserves of the greater Boston area once I am in Cambridge next year.
