Mateo Rojas

I am from Mar del Plata, Argentina. After pursuing a career as a professional basketball player, I decided to further my education and establish myself as an entrepreneur in the craft brewing field. Since late 2017, I have lived in Lima, Peru, where I am the COO of a beverage manufacturing company. I see myself impacting the FMCG beverage industry, especially in the growing healthy soda sector, positively influencing people’s dietary habits, regional economies, and public health. I am really looking forward to arriving at MIT, exchanging ideas, having great conversations, and learning from my colleagues and the teaching staff while also tasting local beers and watching a Celtics-Lakers game!
